That is a lot easier and quicker than the way I found it, don't ask how, I do not think I could remember!
Thank you. :br

Great pulsing buttons! Does it mean I have to open every post whether I want to or not just to stop those large buttons flashing at me all the time (some even in green!)?

Serious, of course! I haven't read all of I P Freely's missives ... he/she seems somewhat incontinent in their complaints! :D

If your viewing the forums individually for example your looking in the Living In Luxor forum, on the top bar to the right of the forum name there is a box named Forum View Post Options click this then click the link Mark topics read this will tell the Board you have read all the topics in this forum and stop all the flashing lights.

An easier way though if you are happy that you have read all you want to read, is to go to the bottom of the forums index page (just under the forum statistics) and click Mark forums read this will tell the Board that you have read all the topics in all the forums and stop all the flashing lights.

Im still working on the forum guide (im about half way through it) :)

Last try, most previous attempts cut and pasted - here we go:

Who knows if this will be successful? :urm:

I've just made two attempts to post - the first a delightful A4 type ramble in response to one that he had written ................but I lost it and had to log in again. The second was a little terse, also lost and I had to sign in again. That makes three times I've logged in and each time I request to be logged in for each visit. :x If this doesn't hit the mark I will sulk. :st

I have just recieved the following message which makes no sense to me. You have incorrectly sorted the items to the correct list of the confirmation question.
The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.

The user name was empty so I put mine in and pressed submit. I then got this new message. The username you entered is already in use, please select an alternative.
You have incorrectly sorted the items to the correct list of the confirmation question.
The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.

I've now logged in and done this a further two times...................................three....................four .....................five :st

Use your loaf, Dr :D Highlight the text (drag the cursor over it) and click a colour in the veritable rainbow of options on the right-hand side of the reply box!

You see, I am green with envy over your Attar bread choices.

@ Mad Dilys - The most common problem if you keep getting logged out is a cookie problem.
Go to the bottom of the forums index page (just under the forum statistics) and click Delete all board cookies, then try login again.

Another possiblility is if your internet as briefly disconnected then reconnected, this would change your IP address.

The errors are because you were logged out of the forums. The Suggestions and Help Enquiries forum allows guests to post, though they have to answer the sortables question out before been able to post to stop spammers.

I have made use of the block option, but on occasion I have wanted to know what was posted if it is in the middle of a thread so I have clicked on the show post option. Brilliant, I didn't have to see the posts unless I actively wanted too, until now! I tried it the other day and got an General Error page come up, as the forum was playing up a bit I thought what the heck, and I didn't really need to know what was posted, I was just being nosy. BUT... today I did want to see what was posred and I got the same error, this is it:
General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Unknown column 'p1.post_deleted_time' in 'where clause' [1054]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.
Please notify the board administrator or webmaster: admin@luxor4u.com

as it says contact you I thought this would explain it better for you than me trying to spell it out....

:))) :))) :)))

The ridiculous, immature Aussie presenter with the Dalai Lama (Karl Stafanovic, on the Today show), is a grade A tool. This is far from his first fail, especially when alcohol is involved. Just Google http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/te ... 6048046895. The Logies are our version of the Golden Globes, but voted by magazine readers. Rubbish. And: http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/entert ... 6123138249 Wilkins is the Entertainment News presenter on Today.
On the other hand, KS's co-presenter Lisa Wilkinson, is highly intelligent and all class, and should be given sole control.

No you cant turn the PM alert on or off, the sound will play once only for each new PM, after this if you dont read your PM the message text should change to red saying you have X number of unread messages
