I don't normally enjoy films on a plane, but usually give them a chance. When you get your earphones on Egyptair, I know that I am four Omm Kalthoum songs from Cairo or Copenhagen :hp , but they showed this today and it was incredible - even on a tiny screen. I left the house before 5AM after no sleep, but Life of Pi certainly kept me awake. :up

I too watched it on my recent exit flight and thoroughly enjoyed it. I also had a 5am departure, after getting up at 3:30. No water of course, so had to bathe from buckets of cold water filled the previous night, tempered by kettles of boiled water. Not enough to wash my hair though. :x

I also enjoyed Skyfall and the last third of The Sessions, during which I had fallen asleep on the way over, not because it was bad, I was just very tired. Both recommended.

I'm on the waitlist at the local library for the book - I'm 36th out of 36 readers and I think I've moved up in the line.

By coincidence, I watched it last night! An excellent film, with quite a twist at the end. The real and animatronic animals merged so well, I could never be sure which was which.
I might agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong!
