It wasn't sorbet so I am not quite sure what you are talking about, unless you were watching Chef Andrew on Fatafeat this morning as he made a smoothie from watermelon and lemon sorbet....

You gave a recipe for semi freddo a few weeks ago and I bought some watermelon yesterday and made a sorbet after remembering your thread.

Mash up half a big watermelon with cup of lime juice and 2 cups of sugar.
Put in container and half freeze, then liquidize it again and re freeze in ice lolly moulds and little tubs.

Lordy - but that sounds good!
(And slightly healthier than that tub of yoghurt ice cream I can hear screeching to be let out of the freezer!)

it's there Scott :mrgreen:

you know you could even put the mix in ice cube trays and have it with your drinks ;) shove a cocktail stick in them and float one in a G and T for the drinkers.

Oooooooooooooh!!!!!

I've a big tub of strawberries in the freezer :)

When these are done I'm gonna make strawberry and banana sorbet lollies :P
