One of our favourite restaurants in Luxor usually visited a couple of times each holiday. The atmosphere is pleasant and the decor and standard of service is better than most. The food is excellent and well presented. The total cost of a meal will compare very favourably to most Luxor hotels.
Fantasic food, faultless service, spotlessly clean, cheap (though not the cheapest), portions are HUGE (esp a knickerbocker glory lol) Mix of Egyptian and British food. Eat there - def recommend it ... 9/10
The restaurant inside was pleasant but the food was not up to standard. My partner sent his meal back as his steak was very dry and over done. He was given a replacement but that was as bad as the first and he refused to eat it.
I ordered a sunday lunch as did other members of our party. This was not up to much in my opinion but the others enjoyed theirs. We have visited luxor several times and like to try different restaurants but we will not be going back to this one.
Although an effort was made at this restaurant and it's quite nice inside, the location in a side street is not great and we thought that the prices were too high for similar food to that found in other recommended venues.
Although it is advertised that you may take your own alcohol, this establishment does not have an alcohol license. In view of a number of raids which have taken place locally, I think customers will find that this option has been withdrawn. It is not a licensed restaurant for the consumption of alcohol on the premises.
Ate here often when living in Luxor, the duck is to die for and very reasonable the same in Uk would be 4-5 times the price. back ground music can be little offputting at times and not always fitting to the environment.
