Gossip Shop
I have to agree with the last post that the food was good, but my niggle with the place is that it is small and all i could hear was constant gossip from other tables who where speaking louder than they should so everone could hear. I heard that Snobs had the reputation before of the ex-pats gossip shop, which now thank fully as lost, but now Deans place has got that image. Lose this and your place will be excellent.

Deans Bistro
Deans Bistro is reknown for its quality of food. Indeed, Mrs. D. taught Dean how to bake pastry and cakes to Mrs. D's. secret receipes.

Unfortunately, as others posters have remarked, it is known as a gossip shop, so good if you want to catch up on the local news whilst eating, then this is the place to go.

Deans Bistro
Gossip shop no longer !

Very few ex-pats frequent Deans now and those that do, have lives outside the ex-pat community and therefore feel no urge to discuss the antics of others !
The quality and variety of the food served, general ambience, value for money and absence of gossip ensure its popularity with visitors and some residents alike !

deans
well on first impressions it looks a friendly place but dean himself is miserable & has an attitude, apparently he is always the same so one visit was enough, food ok, place no atmosphere so like i said one visit & we didn't go back!

Deans Bistro
We have been visiting Luxor for the past 10 years and my partner being a Coeliac (Gluten free food) had problems finding good gluten free food in Egypt until we found Deans Bistro. Dean made sure everything was gluten free, with a wide variety of dishes. The food was excellent and a definate
return is a must.
This restaurant is a definate must.
