| Hi Andre,
Thank you for your blog, it has some really useful info. Please can I ask you a question, if I am just a freelance photographer and I want to go work in Egypt taking photos of tourists and sell them their images, what kind of visa would I need?
I wouldnt want a partner in any way as its not a huge business just something I would like to do for about 3 years?

| Hi
we are much in the same dilemma as to whether to move out there or not
our solution is I think the classic one - going out at the end of November for 3 months to see how we get on - no bridges burnt in the UK but long enough to see how things are out there
advantages are
1) that it seems to be the "tourist" season so there will be a number of people out there
2) the lectures are on so will be a regular contact
3) we miss most of the winter!! in the UK

| Your blog is definitely udeful. I have one question regardin,g the LLC : what would be the annual fee of an accountant ? I am talikng oif a small business with around 50,000 to 100,000 Euros of annual revenue ?

| Hello,
I too have been thinking of moving to Luxor as I have grown to love the place over the twenty or so years I have been visiting. I think for me it is the fact the things seem many years behind our advanced ways here, and I do like the social life. However I am not sure that at our advanced years [ I'm 66]it would be a bit risky from a medical point of view. Also with all the changes taking place in Luxor at the moment it is also worrying.
I think perhaps we have left it too late. My thoughts are to visit when I can and enjoy for as long as possible.

| Hello Scorpio 37 and Magy. I joined this site yesterday and came across your blog today. I was truly touched and greatly saddened. Dear friends of mine lost their son, he was my first husband, we were 24. Long time ago now (I'm 43!)but feels like 2 seconds ago. I have never accepted his death, just learnt to live with it. I have to take comfort in the fact that I will always have Peter Pan memories of him now, he will never grow old, never be in pain...this is how I dealt and still deal with it.
