Re: Visa fees

Post by Gordon292 »

Now that brings back memories Who2. Why? because I actually got on quite well with her. A long time ago the Visa used to last for more than 2 or 3 months and one year when I went to renew my Visa I handed her the required papers along with my passport and she said, You are a bit late. When I asked why she said you need to read the small print as they had reduced the length of time the Visa lasted. Any way she told me she would have a word with her boss and told me to come back later. When I went back later she was all smiles and handed me my passport with the extended Visa. Of course she did well with regards Backsheesh on this occasion but she did well every time I went to renew my Visa. Have heard that it is her son who is now in the Visa office and often wonder if he would have been been as helpful as his mother.
