Visa confusion - again

Post by crewmeal »

I’ve just had an email from the FCO stating the ‘new’ passport requirements along with visa requirements.

Not so long ago a minister for Egyptian tourism stated you won’t need a visa if you fly directly to Luxor and Aswan.

"Confusion reigns !!!"

In reality, it was ever thus! The actual regulations were very rarely applied on the ground, giving us long-term stayers a false sense of security, but which was never truly legal.
