EGYPTAIR Scam notification

I've received the following email from Egyptair about scam emails. I'm sure others will have received this email, but in case you haven't, I've copied and pasted below for your information.

URGENT ALERT

EGYPTAIR urges its loyal customers not to respond to emails requesting their banking card information. These are scams.
EGYPTAIR is NOT responsible for these scam emails and will NEVER request your banking details or sensitive financial information via email.
If you receive such an email:
* DO NOT reply.
* DO NOT click any links.
* DO NOT download attachments.
* DELETE it immediately.

Egyptair passengers obviously had oodles of cash, flying with EA and daft enough to get scammed..imho..

Yes, I received that email and realised it was a scam because it was asking for bank details and the security code and deleted it immediately
