And why not It came to mind today. prepping the house for summer.
You will know when it's hot here, when I have removed all the glass and lifted all the rugs.

I'm quite sorted except for the ruddy iphone, I think I have another number lol.
Being honest I don't really care, I have far more important things to do, like decalcifying the water jets,
insulating the cold storage tank.

William delivered enough beer & wine for a couple of months and the new 'nagil is growing fast..(lawn)
So, all is well with the World, well not really but this 'lotus eater couldn't really give a flying-duck,
"Slip sliding away"

A new Pope for the 1.9 billion faithfull, a Chicago based and probably mafia connected.
Who, was the chicago born guy in charge of the Vatican Bank ? hung himself(sic) under Blackfriars Bridge.
Calvi ! The Order of the Blackfriar, it's them who dun im guv!..... 8)

Ps: To many ruddy Saints for my liking..oh! don't forget all the 'kiddie-fiddlers....
Top Tip: Never Trust a Man of the Cloth.... Unless your a choir-boy..

I replaced the whole ground mud floors with limestone, cost 2k and only the cinema has a Carrier A/c.
Whip up all the rugs whack on the A/c and hosedown all the limestone, shut exterior doors.

It becomes a ruddy great fridge within 20 minutes. QED..'simples.... 8)

Ps: The floors were cut from lorry loads of rocks by 6 local bridge builders, the boss asked me,
"Do want a pond in the salon ?" lol..

I'm missing Luxor after being away for 15 months. I have to ask, how do you feel after such a long absence? Do you sense any changes in people's attitudes, not necessarily personally, but in general. Are they upbeat at all, or are they dissatisfied with El Sisi and local government, is there any general rage about Gaza, for instance?

Good question ?
Obviously money is all around, building has never been so good, villas popping up all over.

Many complain about the new drug testing law just come in, smoking ? just pay the fine.
El Hefe is like our 15th C tax collectors, he is making money 'every which way but lose'

And spending it like water on making the place look good for tourists, I noticed a smashed
illuminated picture of him down in Ramla last week,
Oh! and they are building a new tourist restaurant where the other 3 restaurants had been
above the Bank, opposite Africa.

A coach park for 50 coaches I reckon granite and marble by the ton, on every lamppost a camera..

A rather nice looking raffia open coffee was knocked down by the Police twice, not to be put
off it's back up again, hilarious...

Everybody moans about their government in every country,
but on the whole they seem happy with their lot.

Me I'm too busy sorting out the 'ol adobe hacienda after 5 years..
Anyhow this is after all Egypt if it can go wrong...
So "Bocra, ma-feesh mushkala no sweat.

I am after all on my holidays, shame no sea or beach but hey!.. 8)

Ps: They are going to have to take measures down in Gezira as it's now a deadly bottleneck,,,,
