Tony Crosbie - UK expat in Luxor

Hello DJKEEFY,
This is not a request to post on the site, it’s a plea for information about a British expat called Tony Crosbie who lived in Luxor and posted regularly on the Luxor4u website between 2009 and 2012. I worked with TC on the Daily Mail in London for 20 years.
Today I did a Google search for ‘Anthony Crosbie' and 'Luxor' and learned the sad news that he had died in Gezira. The post is in a part of the website inaccessible to non-members called Living In Luxor, so I don’t know when it was posted or by whom.
I have been able to read several of Tony's posts - his user name was Tony C - and it’s definitely the same person. He was born in Whitstable and worked as a sub-editor on the Mail in Kensington and lived in Twickenham - all places he references in his posts.
Tony also worked on the Reading Evening Post and for a newspaper in Saudi before joining the Mail, where he was a bit of a legend. During the 1960s he ran a bowling alley.
After retiring from the Mail around the time of the Millennium, he worked for The Gramophone music magazine - appropriate for a classical music fanatic. Presumably after that he made the move to Luxor. He wasn’t close to any of his surviving relatives in Whitstable.
Most of Tony's colleagues on the Mail, including me, are now retired although some are still working but none of us had heard from him for more than a decade. The last any of us saw of him was when he flew to the UK for the 60th birthday of a female colleague.
Any light that you or other members of the Luxor4u community can shed on the date and cause of his death, last resting place etc would be gratefully received.
I enclose my email address.
Regards,
Jeff Shaw, Banbury, Oxon.
