I see last night's Luxor flight was either cancelled or reescheduled with the aircraft flying to Madrid and on to Cairo for a crew change. I hope those booked on the flight from London got to Luxor eventually.

The late flights out of Heathrow are often cancelled. Although tempted many times with good prices, that's the only reason that we've never booked on one on the last 20 odd years!

While we're at it I wouldn't recommend flying form Manchester to Cairo if you're looking at connections. This flight is always delayed by at least an hour every time, even though it arrives into Manchester on time.

Has anyone had any recent experiences with afternoon Egyptair flights Heathrow to Luxor via Cairo getting flight times changed by the airline? We're booked for next May and have already seen a change. No notice yet from Egyptair unless I look into my booking. We only found out as my son who booked through Expedia received an email from them to inform him that they have been notified by the airline that there will be a change to his flights, but that they are now awaiting confirmation as to what the changes will be when the airline confirms them.
