Hmmm, yes Cleopatra was of Greek origin, Macedonian to be correct, - after the death of Alexander the Great his empire was divided between his generals, and Ptolemy got Egypt. She was his descendant, but it seems unlikely that the bloodline was pure Macedonian, after 8 generations
