Perhaps if you're not sure you can choose a different one for each day of the month .................?

I imagine the aim was to assist officers in dealing with the ever- increasing range of “ identiities” people claim….by way of explaining what they mean. I’m not sure why the Daily Mail thinks this is a waste of money….it can hardly have cost much.
A more apparent waste of money is the Daily Mail occupying several inches of newsprint to draw our attention to a matter which i can say with certainty would otherwise have gone unnoticed by 99.999999% of the population

Whilst I certainly take your point, surely many of us wouldn't notice very much, if it was not for the popular press? Mind you, a large proportion of Daily Mail copy is designed purely to get someone's back up! I know, as I peruse it regularly!

You can divide the Press into two camps…..those whose aim is to inform (and hopefully make sufficient money to survive) and those whose aim is to glean as much money as possible by increasing their circulation by whatever means they can. Whether the content is newsworthy is immaterial.
Sadly, pandering to prejudices - of all kinds - or titillation are cast iron methods of garnering an audience.
Without looking, I’m pretty sure the Daily Mail is riding its high horse over the Neil Parish tractor/porn saga as it did with Prince Andrew’s indiscretion with a jet-setting hooker. Nothing like a bit of scandal amongst the high and mighty to get the juices of the hoi polloi flowing with faux outrage.
Please! Pass the bucket….
