Egyptair having a bad day

More Egyptian tyre bursting action as Egypt Air Boeing 737-800 touched down in Saudi Arabia at Madinah's runway at when both nose tyres burst causing tyre debris to impact fuselage, engines and wings.
A post flight inspection also revealed damage to the underside of the left engine (CFM56) consistent with a possible pod strike.

This is the fourth incident in so many weeks. The others being of a similar nature with Air Egypt. Having flown many times with Egyptair I notice the pilots seem to have a ‘put ‘em down’ attitude when landing. They are nearly always a hard landing. It must be something they’re taught in the sim.

Carrier type landings, but Egypt does not have aircraft carriers. Very odd.

They’ve a couple of French-built helicopter carriers ....but I doubt you could land a 737 on one
