We look back again at the world events of 1963 when Kennedy was assassinated. I was at boarding school near Harrowe a the time and nothing much was mentiond. My guess the staff didn't want the pupils to worry incase WW3 started.
Where were you?
Remember how formal the Beeb was back in those days.

I was in an Italian restaurant for my 11th birthday after a play in the West End & service was awful. Found out why when a very tearful waiter came & told us what had happened. Don't think we ever did get the meal!

I was yet again attempting to get Beryl Roberts to give us a kiss, I was 10 and labled a pariah by all the local girls, still to this day an attitude that I could never fathom out lol.

I have trouble remembering what I had for breakfast today...let alone what I was doing 57 years ago
