I came across a piece in the news today but for some reason couldnt copy it but this is the gist of it:-
A scene from the movie "The Shawshank Redemption" with both Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman looking grim-faced.
Tim Robbins - "What you in for?"
Morgan Freeman - "I stole a toaster and a pair of socks".................

Now that supermarkets in Wales can only sell “essentials”, I wonder if a toaster or socks qualify?
Surely not socks....as they’re closing clothes shops.
And I imagine people can do without toast for a couple of weeks .
So, yes, if you’re in desperate need of these items, you’d probably have to steal them......and not from Tesco!

A bit of a dilemma that the Welsh Assembly has got itself into. If they do a u turn on supermarkets selling 'non essentials' they have no grounds to close shops selling similar items......when you are in a hole stop digging
