Carrie, Frank Dillon painted many scenes in Egypt, as well as other parts of the Arabic world. I particularly like his more archetectual paintings of which there are plenty relating to streets and buildings in Cairo.

Yes thank you Hepzibah, I looked him up wouldn't mind some of his work on my walls. Might just have a go at a copy.

That one last auctioned for £ 10,000 - 15,000 at Bonhams, I wonder where it is now ?
Definitely not at The Luxor Art Gallery even though they have silly prices for pretty poor works of art.
Being honest these couple of perverts cannot paint for sh*t but £12 k ?.....
