Tutankhamun returns to London

This is a chance for those who can't see many of the Luxor sites to get a taste of Egyptian history. It may and I hope it generates more interest and possibly more will fly out to the area to see for themselves the great beauty of the temples and tombs.

I’m not sure putting it in the Saatchi Gallery was a good idea. It’s made it the most expensive exhibition in UK history....although how much of this is down to the gallery, and how much to Hawass and co. is anyone’s guess.

Still...I expect I’ll go. It’ll make a suitable Christmas present for someone I know.
