Egypt investigates porn video allegedly shot atop Giza Pyramid.

The explicit video claimed to be filmed atop of the Great Pyramid of Giza by a Danish photographer has been referred to Egypt’s top prosecutor to investigate its authenticity.

Climbing the Giza Plateau is considered illegal, according to the head of the archaeological site, who ruled out the Danish couple have climbed up the Khufu Pyramid amid existing tight security presence.

The photographer Andreas Hvid posted a porn video on his Youtube channel, showing him and his girl friend climbing to a pyramid top, referring to it as Giza Pyramid in Egypt.



In the video description, Hvid wrote “In late November 2018, a friend and I climbed the Great Pyramid of Giza (a.k.a. Pyramid of Khufu, Pyramid of Cheops). Fearing to be spotted by the many guards, I did not film the several hours of sneaking around at the Giza Plateau, which lead up to the climb.”

The video has been circulate on social media, with some angry comments describing it as tarnishing the historic site.

The director of Pyramids archaeological area Asharf Mohey said he will file a report to the prosecution demanding an official investigation into the explicit video.

Earlier, Mohey made remarks on the video as “fake and unreal,” saying that climbing the pyramid is impossible due to restrictions. He further suspected its authenticity, referring to a “strange” light appeared in the footage that does not resemble the real view of the site that is closed everyday at 5pm.

In 2015, Egypt investigated a 10-minute unlawful footage of pornographic scenes in the area of the Pyramids made by a foreign female tourist.

I've just had a quick look. Lot's of diverse comments. Personally, I think if they are stupid enough to have sex and post it for the world to see then, well yes, they are stupid. However, climbing the pyramid, stupid also, is where the focus of the crime should be placed.

A nice inclined moving stairway up one side of the Khufu pyramid would be a real money spinner and perhaps a small tea room at the top with one of those see through glass walkways surrounding it. What a missed oportunity to boost tourism, it works well with the cable car at Masada

I'm liking your thinking. You may just have hit upon the way to get me to the pyramids. The long distance views in that video were most appealing and I'm partial to visiting tea rooms with a bit of character.

Wonder how long it will take for Dogging to be the new craze? Maybe illegitimacy will become accepted soon! Who knows what the next craze will be because nothing gets policed and everything is basically left to the people to police themselves. If FGM is still legal, kids getting married is still legal due to non policing then who knows what the future will be. By the way I do condone all I have mentioned.....

I have first hand experience of rape in Egypt, it seems to be acceptable to most! regarding mass slaughter that also seems to be acceptable in Egypt. On all sides too!!!

Egypt arrests two over nude tourists on pyramid.

Egyptian authorities on Thursday (Dec 13) arrested a camel driver and a woman accused of having helped two Danes scale the Great Pyramid of Giza to take a video and naked photograph, sparking outrage in the country.

The interior ministry said the woman had put the pair into contact with the camel driver who took them to the site illegally at night on Nov 29 for 4,000 Egyptian pounds (S$300).

The two had acknowledged their role in the incident and would be put on trial.

In a video called "Climbing the Great Pyramid of Giza", Danish photographer Andreas Hvid appears to scale the 4,500-year-old tomb on the outskirts of Cairo with a woman who is later seen removing her top.

Hvid says the video was shot in late November and posted on YouTube on Dec 8, setting in motion an investigation by Egypt's public prosecutor.

A photograph also released by Hvid appears to show the pair completely naked on top of each other while looking in the direction of a nearby pyramid.

The nearly three-minute video has so far notched up 4.5 million views on YouTube, while stirring a public outcry in Egypt.

"A 7,000-year-old civilisation has turned into a bed sheet," a Twitter user in Egypt lamented.

Hvid, 23, has explained back home to the Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet that he had "dreamed for many years of climbing the Great Pyramid" as well as of taking a naked photograph.

The young Dane, who runs his own YouTube channel, said the woman in the video was not his girlfriend.

"It was just a pose. We did not have sexual relations," he said.

The Great Pyramid is the largest in Giza, standing 146m tall, and the only surviving structure of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

Climbing pyramids is forbidden in Egypt.

In 2016, a German tourist was barred from entering the country for life after he posted online footage of climbing one of the ancient structures.

Egyptian tourists are often deranged particularly those 'attracted' to certain structures - not generally Danish Structures.

First an anecdote. A long time ago I went to the difficult to get to temple of Aphia on the top of a mountain on the island of Aegina and looking towards a pollution obscured Athens. Its a remarkable early temple on a site exquisite for many reasons including the breathtaking view, in good nick and made better than perfect by few tourists. I spoke with a German couple for a minute of two and then started taking snaps. At this point the young German man stripped, jumped the low fence and leant naked against one of the columns. I must say it did look good and who cared if it was illegal. Like many Germans, nudism is not an issue. Over in three minutes whilst his female friend took photos - which I did not. No sex occurred as far as I could see but a few Greek males did get excited in a non-negative way. It might have been only non-negative from their point of view.

So what do you see. They, rather their servant, has dragged three chairs, a table, a large rug – possibly two, a large box full of eats, a china tea set and probably had to drag the 5 idiots as well – maybe a 6th if you include the photographer. The one on the left is all rugged up whilst three have stripped, pity. Note the cocktail party hat on the swim-suited female who is feeding her stripped male friend as if he is a child and the queen mum hat on the one in the middle. Some give the date as 1938. They are having tea I think. And we think modern tourists lazy, narcissistic fools. I assume they are English although given the male bodies (presumably upper middle class) in the photo I'm surprised the Germans lost WW2.

Here is another one who seems to need a bit of attention, possibly professional attention. If her face is any guide, she’s closely related to king Tut’s mummy. I think any attention would be fondly appreciated. Some give the date as 1928. Obviously stripping off was the fashion – pity the bodies weren’t much good.




The next one is probably just publicity for a touring acrobatic act and is photographed in the same location – maybe there were touts running a business specific to this particular photographic location.

Here is a photograph showing the pushing and pulling to get the tourists to the top of Cheops. There was a lot of employment in it. It claims to be from the 1870’s. I could be wrong but the westerner about a third of the way up the photo on the right seems to have a 5-7 year old child - possibly a girl - who is being ‘launched’ to the top. And we think modern tourists mad.

There are lots of other similar photographs from this period or later but its unclear to me whether they just aimed to go part of the way or was it the case that thousands mounted the pyramids - in a non Danish way.



Here is a recent climber from 2016. He claims to have done it without slaves and there is no evidence that he has stripped.

At a checkpoint in Aswan I asked the driver, why the policeman had such a dirty look on his smiling face when told that the two beautiful female passengers were Danish.

It's not every day you hear about a Danish photographer shooting a controversial video up there, right? Well, jokes aside, I think it's essential to respect the rules and regulations of historical sites like Giza. Climbing the pyramid is a big no-no and can potentially damage these magnificent structures. Plus, with tight security, it sounds nearly impossible for anyone to get up there!
