Well, it was that time of year again folks, visa run. But happy to say, no problems for once, although I expected another 15Le number and a long wait. Spoke to two long term friends when I got back off hols, they had both been kept waiting for many weeks, then when standing at the counter another friend came in for her visa, she had been waiting for 2.5 months for hers. But I got my six months no problem, although the price had increased to 1,120Le. So now I'm already planning my next hols in March.

The "system" - such as it is - seems to be settling down, particularly for UK citizens.

6 months (even with re-entry permits , at least in Hurghada); then a further 6 months ( but without re-entry); then you have tovleave for at least a day.
