I agree with you there Dr, remember how bloody miserable Sundays in the UK used to be, all thanks to some bible bashers wanting to impose their sanctimonious ways on the rest of us.

Politics is bad enough without religion poking its evil nose into things.

I take it you weren't a fan of Songs of Praise?
And as if Sunday's weren't bad enough......you now have bloody football on God's day of rest

You mean 'Songs to slit your wrists by' what a load of boring dirges most of them are, get a life, go sit in a nice meadow by a river with a nice bottle of wine and a roast chicken. and appreciate this life instead of pondering about the next

I used to love those rousing old hymns :
And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England's mountains green?
Nope. Apart from a few druids
And was the holy Lamb of God
On England's pleasant pastures seen?
Nope......although there's thousands in Wales
And did the countenance divine
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
Rarely....and never on a Bank Holiday
And was Jerusalem builded here
Among those dark Satanic Mills?
Nope. Rejected after planning consent was refused in face of intense NIMBY lobbying
