Gambling ?

Post by Who2 »

It's a mugs game!
I'm glad the government has at last done something useful.
One does not find 'bookies in Kensington or Mayfair does one ?
When I was 9 years old I was a 'bookies runner.
I have gambled twice, Once on 'Foinavon in the 67 Grand National, I won!
And once spent £50 quid in The Victoria Sporting Club, I lost but the drinks were free as were the 'fish & chips.
My Uncle Fred had betting shops, His statement: "It's a mug-punters' game.
I once worked for a professional card player, he lived on Putney Hill his flat blew up, but on average he earned £5k per week.
But he was not stupid like most gamblers... 8)
Ps: "I loathe stupid individuals! I mean, we are all born with the same brain...

I am surprised the Egyptian Government has not started a National Lottery to create wealth. (For them of course   ) I could imagine 50le a ticket with the jackpot of 100le :snig: :snig: :snig:
