Its sad when anyone dies, but personally, couldn't stand his style of humor.

You know you're getting old when the TV/film stars you spent your life watching - or avoiding - start dropping off their perches in increasing numbers.

Are we having bets on who may be next. The end result not being compulsory. My money is on Jacqueline Bouvier, mother of Marge Simpson. Shes well over eighty now and still leading a hard and confusing life with little or no support from her family members, but still a popular TV personality.

Wasn't she better known as Jacqueline Kennedy (widow of JFK) ?

I'm not a Simpsons aficionado so I'll have to take your word that they named a character after the late first lady of USA.

Wel Marge Simpsons maiden name was certainly Bouvier before she married Homer.
