There is is an excellent free app for android and possibly iPhone called Skyview Free.
Install the app then run it and point your android device at the sky and it will identify all the stars and constellation's as well as satellites.

Tap on a particular star or constellation and you get information about it.

You can do a full 360 spherical sweep, so you can see the stars below you too.

I have yet to try it on the VR headset, so if anyone has one of those, give it a try. :up

Why is Scorpio at the exact opposite to Orion.? I wondered about that too.....

I'd enjoy trying an app like that. My problem is that, although I've only added a few things such as L4U and Skype to my phone it won't let me add any more as it says I'm out of memory. I've put a micro sim in to increase the memory but nothing seems to go to it automatically and I never see any commands or options to place things on it either.

I hope you get out of the Red City into the mountains or the desert as I'm sure your app will be even more fun for you there with such unpolluted skies.

If you navigate to SETTINGS then APPS, tap on an application you have installed, you will see an option to Move to SD card.
This will free up internal memory..... :up

Repeat as necessary......


If you don't see that option, you may need to format the SD card first.
To do that, go into SETTINGS, STORAGE. Scroll down to removable storage. The option will be there somewhere to do that.

Anyhow, I'm trying to get rat assed on foreign Brandy....... not an easy task, but I am persevering..... :wi :wi :wi :wi :wi

I wish I was... been trying for hours and getting nowhere.... bloody foreign alcohol. :wi :wi :wi :wi :wi :wi

Same scenario when I did magic mushrooms, although I did manage to decipher the image on the rug my mate had hanging on his wall that he bought from Peru.... :cg
Oh, and I saw my own aura, which was pretty neat....... :up fractals as I recall......

Here, if you're doing Mushes, the best is Norfolk, near a certain Abbéy around the end of March,........though I digress. Just got back from a party at a certain school in the area. A few big wigs there, some required a police car to get them home, though respectfully, as always no one were called plebs, so things went smoothly, even for the silly smashed cow, wanting to get all the way, along the coast road to Chichester,.......for Christ sake. :wi :wi :wi :wi :wi .

Much easier to hold ones own court and keep quiet.

Took me a long time to learn that lesson..... :cg

Norfolk is a lovely place, I have a couple of relatives still living there, but I have never had the desire to return. My little sister did go back there once, but then she lives very much in the past. I realised I had made a huge mistake going back to the dales back in 1988.

Interestingly enough the house my old man built has now fallen into disrepair, which I guess was always going to be its fate due to the fact that it never fulfilled it's purpose. I have a feeling you will know what I mean.....

Easier to drink than Egyptian brandy. I prefer the French ones. But others such as Asbach Uralt and Metaxa ***** or ******* are also good. Spanish ones err on the sweet side.

I have a phone and it is my office.....
Alarm clock, music and video player, camera, an entire office suite, and I can video call people from anywhere in the world !
