Looks like the re-unification talks between the Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots are going well. Hopefully there will be a resolution to their long standing problems very soon.
Even though I had my worst holiday there ever and would never return I wish them well.

The amount of hostility that still remains between Greek & Turkish Cypriots especially those who were dispossessed in the Northern part after the Turkish invasion would make me think it is unlikely to happen any time soon. I struck it off my list some years ago mainly because you have seen the place in a week if you hire a car and I became bored after about 10 days or so.
