Sky are reporting another bomb attack in Turkey, this time at a coastal resort, its believed that 2 persons have been killed so far.

Izmir is not a "coastal resort", it's the third biggest city in Turkey, probably the most cosmopolitan - a "resort" it most definitely is not. The bomb was exploded outside the main law courts, nowhere near the Korden/Alsancak where most of the hotels are.

The airport is a good 40 minutes outside the city, and the bus station is on the outer ring road. They'll both have the flags flying for you Carrie!
