Chuck Berry is 90 today. One of the greats of rock and roll he played a very big part in my teenage years, (albeit during HIS teenage years he was doing time in a juvenile detention centre for armed robbery!)and I still love dancing to his music after all this time. He's influenced so many other great groups - how many when first starting out, probably as spotty teenagers, were playing Chuck Berry numbers. The early Beatles and Stones albums, as well as many other singers, certainly contained Chuck Berry songs . Happy Birthday Chuck - Im still dancing to your music.

Its interesting to see the audience as well in this clip - Chuck was breaking new ground, and in some areas it was seriously frowned upon for a white audience listening to a black performer (and obviously loving every minute of it).
