Sue died yesterday after a courageous battle with Cancer.Sue's family would like her friends in Luxor and UK to know.Some we know are not on the internet so please inform them, if they were a friend of Stan they were a friend of Sue.

This is very sad news, I assume that we are talking about Stan's very good friend Sue?

Knowing what good friends they were I felt was only fitting to insert this image he made himself from out of Stans picture folder as his own tribute to his friend.

Known Sue a long time spent many a happy hour with her and Stan I did know how very ill she was, my deepest condolences to her family, she will be greatly missed.

A sad day indeed. Sue was a good friend and travelling companion. Even through this illness she was talking about us making more trips to Egypt and Morocco. She always had a great zest for life and that was always apparent, even in these recent months. Sue will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Having had contact with Sue's son, he told me that he took that photograph the evening Sue died. To his back was a rainbow. Somehow, knowing Sue, that all just feels right.

The photograph taken by Sue's son inspired me to write the following. I'm sharing it here now, having already shared it with Sue's family, because today her funeral is taking place. I can't be there in body but I am very much with them in my thoughts.
