Where else in the world do you suddenly go flying after hitting a geometrically incorrect speed bump or have to navigate around sheep in the street?

Travelling from point A to point B in Egypt is easier said than done. Poorly maintained roads, lack of traffic law enforcement, and a joke disguised as a driving exam all contribute to unacceptably high rate of fatal accidents. Aside from avoiding death, drivers can also find themselves easily lost as many of the street signs seem misleading, often requiring one to pull over to understand. In an effort to increase safety and clarity, we decided to compile a list of street signs that are desperately needed to forewarn drivers and even pedestrians of daily Egyptian encounters on their treacherous roads.

Signs:

01 - Beware of Air Conditioning Drips
02 - Beware of Cyclists...And Donkeys
03 - All These Lanes Are About to Become One
04 - Monstrous Speed Bump Ahead
05 - Accidents... Everywhere
06 - Spillage Ahead
07 - The Endless Search for a Trash Bins Begins Now
08 - Sheep Crossing
09 - No Family Motorbike Trips
10 - Prepare to Drive for Hours Before You Park
11 - Beware: Checkpoint Ahead
12 - Pothole from Hell
13 - Protest Ahead
14 - Beware of Hipster Street Selfie
15 - Celebration Zone

15 Actually exists now in Luxor. The traffic police have put up a giant sign in Midan Salah al-Din that shows a bride and a groom figure and reads something along the lines of, "Congratulations on Your Marriage, Now Don't Block Traffic with the Wedding Convoy."

At least you did not get any stupid remarks Keefy for highlighting the road problems and the non existence of safety. A good post and very funny.

I may be wrong, but I don't think " highlighting the road problems and the non existence of safety" was Keefy's objective! :a8:

Taking the p*ss , on the other hand, might have more impact than your endless wittering.
