Yeah, I know, another 'golden oldie '.

Apparently a proposal is to be put before parliament banning the niqab in public places and government buildings.

If by public places they mean 'in public' I think It's a dodgy idea. There's obviously a security issue in certain places but a wholesale ban is likely to cause more problems than it solves.

Egypt has enough disaffected citizens without adding niqab-wearers.

I think women should be allowed to wear some sort of clothing..

But surly that would put an end to skinny dipping.

I am taking to the niqab, have decided. Sunglasses so no one can see the colour of my eyes, the full monty. Probably break my neck the first time out.

Probably men should take to wearing it too, some need to hide their shame!
