Tourists & The Egyptian Economy...

Now, I often lie on my deck watching the to and fro from Upper Egypt to Cairo.
Business is booming, rarely does on see any aged vehicles the amount of produce and arctic lorries are a testament that business is booming.
New business's open up daily, buildings still appear, Hatshepsuit through my telescope is heaving with min 30 coaches every few hours.
Just saw this amazing crane bombing down the road, which caused me to google the company.
There's a few gold mine investors at work here, solar power plants are starting and the Chinese look at Egypt as a gateway to Africa.
The tourist industry as we know it in Luxor has only existed for 30 years that's the 'kiss me quick lot cheap travel & beer.
They move to what they can sell their customer base cheap, cheerful, sun sea sand & sex.
Now, Iv'e told you before many many times 'they ain't never coming back ever, that's never ever, so get used to it.
These people here learn to survive pretty damn quick they have to, else their dead there ain't no labour exchange.
So forget the Cosmos travel Mob they've gone.
Which personally is one of my dreams come true, anyhow the writing was on the wall for those with the eyes to see...
