Quotations

'Some people are so poor all they have is money.'

I've just come across the above quotation, although sadly I don't know where it originated from. I thought it quite profound and fitted my thoughts about something else I'd just read about (but was far better expressed than I could have done).

Do you have a favourite quotation?

The quote is usually attributed to Patrick Meagher.

One of my favourites :

Insanity : doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

- Albert Einstein

The more sand has escaped from the hourglass of our life, the clearer we should see through it.
Niccolo Machiavelli.

The past is never dead, it not even past.

That just made me giggle as it fits in so well with what I was thinking with regard to certain forum membership behaviour patterns.

Which woman is that? Something about a horse and carriage? No. That involved love.

"Alter your stride to meet a stranger"

Often I sit in different parts of my house to gain inspiration for that area.
I've been ill for 4 days and thoroughly enjoying it.
The bedroom I usually only frequent at night time, twixt the bedroom & bathroom is the BBQ area.
I cleaned it from top to bottom and decided to make a few changes.

I altered my stride, got the wi-fi into the bedroom, fixed the BBQ fridge and washed down the 2nd wet room.
Great fun, cut down the fags ate loads of honey & chicken broth, still feel ill, but what the hell ?
So try "altering your stride to meet a stranger"....
