I've just seen an advert stating that Egyptair will be flying 3 times a week between Manchester and Cairo. This is due to start 2nd July 2015.

Too late for us, as we have organised and paid for the rest of our trips for 2015 with other carriers.

Years ago, sometimes I would travel with Turkish Airlines to Egypt via Istambul. On the return leg I was able to stop off in Istambul for three or four days. I wonder if this is still possible ?...

Hi Peeps,
It's been an incredibly long time since I posted on here and a very long time since my last visit,
The main reason for not doing my my usual twice yearly visits is the non existent direct...

If you cannot get to Heathrow easily, then flying into Luxor can be a real chew-on!
From the North, we now find it much much easier, and convenient, to fly direct from N/cle to Hurghada and bus it...
