This could be interesting in June in Luxor! I'm glad we will be away when it comes into force nationally as I doubt any of the garages have internet access here.
The station owner said the company in charge were carrying out a trial "in order to handle any problems that could occur" but explained it can take 3 - 5 minutes per vehicle especially with forgotten passwords. The fuel queues are often a feature now so can't imagine what effect an extra 3 - 5 minutes per vehicle will have. I do think a limited trial run is a good idea though.
He also said they have frequent internet outages, which stops the whole station & he wondered “We do not know how would we face such problem when the system is adopted”
