Someone said that there is a pet shop off TV st but I cannot find it, so if anyone knows can they post it's location for me.
I need 2 Guinea Pigs for my lawn and some decent goldfish for my pond.

I passed one in Zamalek today. I kid you not, it said something like "Clinic Spa Motel" on the sign.

If it is still there it is the second lane on the left from Twinkie street end from memory (on the right as you walk down the lane, think there is a barber shop next door) He sells gold fish and fancy fish and birds but do not remember what else he had.

p.s. there are loads of pet shops in Cairo

I dunno if the Kings Island hotel, or whatever the old Movenpick is now called, still has their Zoo? They used to have dozens off guineapigs and might still be some there?

We have a heron that comes round here, eyeing up next doors coy carp..
the Heron and my cat are scared to death of the 5 buzzards we have circling above us, as they get carried up on the current of air from the valley below us.

It is rather funny to see how the circle of life can often cause a stale mate situation, and the coy carp swim around in ignorant bliss..

Some still continue to swim around on here in ignorant bliss.

Actually, thinking about it more, I think it was "Salon Spa Motel." Pampered pets.
