Last week we showed The Sphinx 1981 [
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083113/ ] a bit of 'argy bargy, about my choice, but in the end, the best film won,
As if i'm a 'prick, when it comes to film ?
It's a sh** film but the locations are to die for…f**k em, the curries were great and don't mention the poppadoms, they went down like 'a sh*t off a shovel.
Anyhow like it or lump it my next KKK presentation will be 'Searching for Sugerman:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2125608/
And my choice of food next week or so, will be 'Tapas, so if any of the above annoy you, let me know and I will 'strike you off the guest list, we have a 'full-house these days and as it's my 'football So, I rule! it's not the film it's the quality of my guests that make it a great night…

Ps: Great night at the Marsam tonight talking about pussy cats, it was heaving!

As you are a great "film buff"Who2,can I point something out to you?
Are you aware that this year is the 50th anniversary of the release of "The Sound of Music?"
Are you intending to screen it?I'm being serious here!
Much as I enjoy the more modern musicals,e.g,"Rocky Horror" and "Sunshine on Leith",etc..this was the BEST!
Just imagine..the beer,the cabbage,the frankenfurters,the sing-alongs.
It was and always will be a "winner!"

A few years ago Who2,a performing theatre group sold out venues such as Glasgow Pavilion, etc.
The film was screened on stage and the actors performed as it was shown.
Audience participation was greatly encouraged(it was branded a "sing-along"version)..so a bunch of nurses dressed up as "Heidi"and "nuns",and got slightly tipsy long before they went along!
What a fantastic night!Highly recommended!
Only thought at the end of it was...Jeez,I really gotta get outa this habit!!
"Rocky Horror"..well you can only imagine the costumes we wore that night!
Let's just say that "50 shades"had nothing on US!!!
Basques,sussies,stockings...guess who we all loved,lol!!x
Get yourself down that souk Who2..and embrace the virginal and the tacky!

Might I suggest a welcoming glass of lime juice or perhaps a glass of lassi (no, not the dog ) - the yogurt drink with nuts and spices and sometimes fruit added. Your usherette could serve bowls of kulfi during the interval.

That's all very nice, but alcohol is an important part of the
KKK meetings.

Ah! Their loss. You can save your good stuff for experimenting with at home.

oops I made an error ...it should read 'lime juice
could be adapted' .
