Well a blockbuster film with all the right names involved, as the story goes a guy builds a big boat and saves his family and all the Planets animals from a flood.
So good so far, I must have had a drink break because on returning I thought the film had slipped into Transformers for some inane reason they had rock type transformers building the Ark.
Now I have read my Bible stories and never notice this poignant part 'weird giant rocks building a boat, basically what a load of crap and a total waste of money the director and writer must have been on some strange drug…

Ps: Highly
Not recommended, tonight I watch that film about N.Korea The Interview.

Agreed, SFX were great, but the film was a pile of crap.
I wont watch "The Interview" there has been too much political interference and hype around that film. so usually I find this type of file is best left alone.
I am however looking forward to Exodus: Gods and Kings:

The SFX will be superb, sod the storyline...
I still think that the Jews had ET help regarding the parting of the Red Sea, in a manner of speaking...

The Interview 2014.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2788710/?ref_=nv_sr_1
Sony say it's their fastest online sales to-date.
Well it's not a great film but better than I expected very funny in parts but can understand why Kim Jong-un would dislike it.
His stupidity is in not realising that he has now made it successful which really isn't….

Ps: I wouldn't pay to see it that's for sure.

Watched Noah last night on sky. Agree that the effects were good but sensationalised by Hollywood to the point of being very little like the original story. nothing new there then
If the ice and snow melt a bit, we are planning on going to the cinema to see Exodus this week. I think the intrigue for Omar, with both films, is that fact they are banned in Egypt so he wants to see what the fuss is about.

I imagine many here in Egypt will have the same curiosity. I wonder if there's a clandestine market for banned movies?

Years ago I over heard an Egyptian man discussing Animal Farm, he said it was banned here there was nowhere he could get it, the European agreed to bring him a copy next time he visited. Animal Farm was one of the books I studied for my GCSE and wondered why it was banned. Possibly because of the pigs I thought, later found out that it wasn't George Orwell's Animal Farm they were talking about. Whoops. Lesson in not listening in to others conversations.

I was hoping to download a free copy, but all the sites advertising it got flagged for malware by my antivirus program. Does anyone know of a safe, free, download?

Mmmmm....but would the 'thought police' be on to you for downloading a banned movie? You have to wonder nowadays whether it would be akin to downloading kiddie porn in the UK.
I did contemplate bringing my pirated copy of Exodus ....but thought better of it.
You never know....

As you well know newcastle, the old saying goes ''the walls have ears.'' This doesn't matter on here as the shopping police just have to read it to use their 'power' if you get my drift. My last day to be nice to the world.

Having just reviewed the comments (on banning movies) on "Egyptian Streets" I imagine Egypt would need the internet monitoring resouces of China to deal with the miscreants on that site alone

My virus checker reports adware and trojan horses here. I cannot afford to take risks as I use it for business.
But if anyone has a copy of Exodus that they could send me by dropbox, hightail, or a similar service I would like to watch the film. Or even better on a usb!

Went to see Exodus last night. As suspected, factually its all a bit tits up, but the effects and general story was covered well enough. Ram II and Ram III were both English, as was Mrs Ram II, Moses aka Batman obviously American, with a very camp British General beating up the slaves, and not a naturally darkened face to be found amongst them. God being a rather up himself 8 yr old English child was a bit way out too

But hey, Hollywood filled it with great special effects and it didn't require any thought to keep up throughout.
