In the 90s, they had pink panther cartoons continuously playing in the Cairo metro stations. That was, until the man who was responsible for the video system claimed to have "found" a video tape lying in the street and decided to watch it on his own screen in his office "only". However, it was inadvertently displayed on all the screens throughout the metro system and it was a porn film. There were riots in the stations and the video system was removed permanently after that.

There is always some barsteward waiting in the shadows to spoil the fun. I remember a friend telling me a few years back, in reference to the Arab porn sites that you can get on the internet, and no, I don't, that it is surprising who you see and no, I don't mean you.
