Besides playing on here preparing again my leg of Pork, I am also playing in my pond.
Now last week a few of these appeared, they look like mozzies and cannot find a similar water boatman on the internet. So what do you think ? sorry about the quality difficult when up-to ones crotch in water...

There' a shop going down the road to the ferry that sells goldfish and siamese fighting fish. On your left hand side before you get to the Business Centre.

The main village road, before you get to the Business centre, facing the Nile so left hand side.

Did you know that if you keep goldfish in a small tank and feed them well they will stay small. Move these fish to a bigger tank and they will grow bigger - their size is controlled largely by their environment. Fish in your pond should do well Inshallah.

Doesn't work in reverse ;)

Many moons ago, when I was but just a child, I was staying at my Uncle's house in Norfolk.
In the field behind his house was a pit, and I went fishing in there. I caught a huge Orange coloured fish and ran back to tell them all.
turns out my cousin had put his goldfish in there that he had won in a fun fair 10 years earlier, and forgot all about it.

I estimate that it was about 7 inches long, and it had done well to survive the birds, as the pit had no cover from trees or reeds.

:eat

Just kidding, I put it back.. :cg

Goldfish = carp. Carp means DO NOT let them escape into open water. (Lesson learned here real good when they muddied up the waters and took over knocking out our native fish)

In your pool I reckon they could grow to 10 inches.

I had 10 inch goldfish in my big pond in the UK.

I know that they were 10 inches - because that's what they were when I bought them. :o

Couldn't agree more. In the UK I was a contented fat barsteward enjoying my two bacon on toast every working day. My environment here does not allow this, hence now a thinner un-contented barsteward. :(

Fish "Possibly" as a result of Alum infested waters Doctor.

I used to own a chemistry set as a kid, and I remember the effects of Alum. especially if one were to just taste it with the tongue...
Pursed lips like a camels anal sphincter in a sandstorm...

Anyhow, the Answer to the two pictures having something in common,
and you would know this had you have partaken of a pint of Watney's Red Barrel back in about 1973..
