The latest information I can find is that the clocks may change on 26/9/14 - any one know if this is a definite or is it still to be announced as the official date.

Every source I can find says that on 25th Sept 2014, at midnight, the time in Egypt will be reset to 23.00.
The airlines flying into Hurghada on 26th Sept also reflect this change.

Yep checked with easyjet - they've taken it into account for my Monday flight - may not get to the Safarga Road in time and will have to overnight in Hurghada.

Only time will tell. The second we find out, the alarm will sound and we can hand the information over. And lets face it, nothing here runs to clockwork.

Are you trying to confuse me? easyJet, and other foreign airlines usually stick to their home country take-off and landing times. If the Egyptian clock "falls back" then the flight will arrive an hour earlier in Egyptian time. This will be a benefit if the road police are still sticking to a set curfew time. If the Egyptian road police adjust the curfew time back an hour you are no better or worse off than before.
Let us know what happens on the day!

I've always found the take off and landing times to be the local time ie fly from UK you fly out at UK time land in Egypt you land at Egyptian time and this is the time shown on the ticket.

Correct. What I am saying is that the flight slots from the home country do not change. The arrival and departure times will be an hour earlier after the Egyptian clock falls back.
