Why is it ? since the mainline Supermarkets made their appearance here, 'God bless them even the MB Hood's 'Ragab & sons.
Why is one can get stock cubes but only meat,chicken and vegetable. What happened to Fish stock cubes ?
Now I know we are spoilt for choice here, but still a visit Omar's for old times sake and the odd blighty ingredient cheers me up.
I once got a bottle of Chinese Fish Sauce here, excellent but never found it since.
Anyway the question is: should I write to the various HQ's and request that they stock a few items ?
I'm also very surprised I can buy no cheap 'my size Camo pants in the clothes section of Ragab's or even cheap 'hoodies..

Ps: Even Metro Cairo doesn't have fish stock cubes.'la whaala!

By the way, I think this was this supermarket I bought that fish sauce, until Da 'boy's indi Hood burnt it down and ransacked it wearing their cheap Ragab & Sons clothing line.

I once saw him in an Egyptian film I think the translation of the title into English is The Terrorist he was brilliant. Also had my photo taken with him when he was filming in Luxor just before last Ramadan.

Life is not reliant on stock cubes, even if Marco Pierre White' disagrees, I have to revert back to a homemade sardine, mussel and chicken stock to to augment tonight's fish risotto.."Life sometimes can be a right trial...
Ps: If only bottle of chilled Montrachet @ only 2500 euros to accompany...
