Egypt is expected to see warm weather with a chance of rain during the upcoming Easter holiday, an official at the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said.
According to EMA, maximum temperatures in Cairo and Nile Delta governorates are predicted to reach 28 degrees Celsius, with nighttime temperatures dropping down to 16 degrees.
Daytime temperatures in Upper Egyptian provinces are expected to hit 38 degrees Celsius, but the heat should fall by the evening, when temperatures are expected to hover around 20 degrees.
Wind speed should be between 15 and 17 knots. Humidity will be up, though, 30 percent at noon and then rising up to 75 percent at night, bringing a chance of showers.
The marine forecast for the Mediterranean Sea has wave height ranging between 1 and 2 metres. Conditions in the Red Sea will be rougher, though, with wave height climbing up to 3 metres.

The predictions for Luxor are up to 44-45C tomorrow depending on what site one uses, with an overnight low of 25C. Sunday is now predicted to reach 42C as well. Summer has come early!
