How Did King Tut Die?

CAIRO, EGYPT—Scientists have been studying the mummy of King Tut since it was first unwrapped in 1925. That examination resulted in severe damage to the remains. Since then, the mummy has been x-rayed twice, it has undergone CT scanning, and its DNA has been analyzed. Yet, Tutankhamun’s internal organs, stored in canopic jars, have never been evaluated. “As neither his body nor historical texts provide a definitive explanation for his demise, a lot of conjectures based on slim evidence have come forth,” said Salima Ikram of The American University in Cairo. She and Frank Rühli of the University of Zurich have reviewed all of the medical claims made about King Tut’s health and his possible cause of death. “The most important finding of this latest publication is that Tutankhamun’s medical case remains unsolved despite almost 80 years of research,” he said.

This says it all really: “As neither his body nor historical texts provide a definitive explanation for his demise, a lot of conjectures based on slim evidence have come forth,”

I'm so flattered that they are keeping this subject alive but I think they need to stop focusing so hard just on Tutankhamen but everyone and everything around him there is more in the sands of Egypt that is waiting to be discovered( Not only in the valley of the kings)

I listened to something on Radio 4 this evening and they said that King Tut had a cleft palette, didn't know that, but I do know and so does everyone else that not everything has been discovered in Egypt yet.

I do like they are just focusing in all the wrong places there is more to ancient Egypt than Karnak, Amarna, and the Valley of the Kings and Queens. There are many secrets in the sands of Egypt.

"There are many secrets in the sands of Egypt………
Sounds like an advert for Hugharda, 'you only have to walk around here with a shovel to get 'nicked, dig over the back garden something old always pops up, the whole place is littered with it, trouble is there is no where to put it all, that's why they just leave in the sand and mark it on a map….
The 'Cat in the Hat once remarked that 'they have only yet found a third, probably a conservative estimate….
