I was prepared to put up with the occasional advert on Youtube, given that they provide a free service, but then the amount of adverts became intolerable, and I felt they were extracting the urine, so I installed Adblock and now, all my videos load instantly, no pop ups, and no adverts anywhere on the Internet..

Trust me, you will notice the difference..

I find that with my meager 2mg Welsh Broadband connection ( that probably terminates via a piece of wet string in a bucket of water somewhere in Outer Mongolia,) my browser is much faster...

Now, if only I could remove all the other advertising I am exposed to.. Oh wait, I have,
its called not taking any f****** notice !!!

I use it as well in my case with Google Chrome, it is very effective, particularly useful is that it also removes facebook adverts.

I'm liking the sound of this. If I'm feeling brave I may well add it to my computer at the weekend. Thanks for the information guys.

Hopefully your web browsing will be faster, since you are not wasting bandwidth on adverts and pop-ups, and unwanted videos plying their trade..

That will be a big bonus. I get sick of waiting for all the crap that I don't want to load and then it fails on the content I do want
