Interesting and thought provoking. From Russia Today (RT).

Their churches are set on fire. They are killed on the streets. Their women are kidnapped and converted to Islam by force. The Coptic Christians of Egypt are the largest Christian community in the Middle East. RT explores the dramatic changes that the fall of Hosni Mubarak's regime brought about.

A very thought provoking film indeed. And a very distressing one. But the Copts can't possibly be being persecuted by their Muslim neighbours can they? If my previous experience on this forum is anything to go by I would expect any such suggestion to be met with denial and scepticism and even outright allegations of Islamophobia!

Of course the majority (I hope) of Muslim Egyptians are not antagonistic to their Christian countrymen. But many are, and recent events have borne testament to that. Who2 says his neighbours are supportive of Christians, and maybe they are. However, I have met several who are definately not-including one who brags about his part in torching a Church near his village. And this was before the revolution. Interesting also that the MB are now threatening to target Churches as well as military installations if their protest camps are cleared. Why Churches? Is it only Christians who oppose them? Or are they just unable to tolerate a Christian presence in Egypt? Shameful and very sad.

Okay, I've donned the helmet and flak jacket-bring it on!

And when will they come for you?

If you really think on this concept of how groups gain energy and start to eliminate or assimilate other groups it can get real scary cause sooner or later the knock will come to your door. And suppose you've got a wife and kids to support? Do you stand on principle and possibly potentially go down? OR Do you protect your family via caving in?

Sometimes think about this. What would I do? Stand up for what I believe and potentially lose it all or do I side with the majority and ensure I can give a life/support/food/shelter etc etc etc to my family?
