Can anyone offer help/solution please?

I wanted to refer to the content of a few PM's sent to me during December and January.

However, even though I selected the 'show the last 1 year' option at the bottom of my in my inbox all that seems to be available are the past three months PM's from March to May 2013.

Do older messages automatically drop out after a certain time?

Are all my older messages lost and if not how do I access them please?

If you have more than 20 messages they will be deleted regardless of how old they are. You can create folders to store messages you want to keep.
