I used to have four electric zappers that were initially OK then suddenly stopped killing then. I think that they now know blue is the new red, as in danger, so fly past.

Sometimes you can advise folk and it goes straight over their heads. A few years ago I met a redtop fly trap, advised her on the sensibilities of using sunblock but just poo pooed the suggestion. :)
