Paul Sussman died suddenly in May 2012 at the age of 45.
He is survived by a wife and two young sons.
Paul wrote 4 novels, detective style thrillers all with an Egyptian theme:
The lost army of Cambyses, The secrets of the Temple, The hidden oasis and The Labyrinth of Osiris; which he finished just before he died. (All published by Bantam Books)
I read his first three books with great enjoyment and have just purchased his last novel, which I am about to read.
I would recommend his books to anyone with an interest in things "Egypt" or if you just want a book to get lost in for a while.
