I find this hard to believe, but it's true.

That unholiest of Religions' H.Q. the Vatican, can no longer take Credit Card payments due to money Laundering schemes..

How times change.. :cg

The Vatican is going cash only, with credit cards and debit cards no longer working in the micro-state.

But the move has nothing to do with throwing money lenders from the Temple or concerns about usury. It was Italy that blocked the use of debit and credit cards in the Vatican, because its central bank doesn’t trust the city state.

The news in the FT tomorrow will also have details to the fact that Switzerlands oldest bank has been FORCED to 'close its doors' for the last time.

I sit here and wonder, where now will the members of Whites, Boodles and dare I say it. those johnny come latley refugees of Pall Mall, now squatting at No 69 St James's Street, better known to you all as the men in grey suits of the Tory Party,...The Carlton Club, Oh where will they all put their un-earned, un-taxed money now.

(End of A-Four rant),.............what. :wi :wi :wi :wi :wi .

The Crooked Banks.

HSBC admitted in court last month that it knowingly allowed $881,000,000 in Mexican Drug money to be laundered through their system. It also admitted to violating the Trading With the Enemy Act by moving hundreds of millions of dollars into countries like Iran, Cuba, and Sudan. The bank even went so far as to instruct those countries on how to not get caught while moving the money.

Oh, and by the way NOBODY WAS CHARGED.
